Matheus Moreira is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist whose work integrates visual arts, graphic design, and contemporary dance.
He began his artistic journey at Núcleo Luz, a professional dance program directed by Chris Belluomini in São Paulo, Brazil, while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communication.
As a performer he had worked with companies and productions, including Nicole Beutler Projects (PULSE!, Netherlands, 2024), Roni Chadash (perFORMING LOVE, 2024-2025) and Faizah Grootens. His Brazilian collaborations also include Palíndromo Ensemble (2022), traditional brazilian dance with GAÂM - Grupo Ana e Angelo (2019-2022), and contact improvisation with Núcleo Improvisação em Contato (2022). In 2024, he was selected for the 6-DAY RESIDENCY by Dance & Beyond (Netherlands) to further his creative research and developed his new solo ‘HANDMADE’.
